I personally think that this song is about a sensitive guy who’s fallen in love with a girl, but given his history with relationships, he’s afraid of getting hurt again. This song stood out because I’ve never heard Ed play a blues tune. All about falling for a girl, but wants to make sure she feels the same way before he opens up his heart n soul to her because he doesn’t want to end up hurt or embarrassed. Ed is a very underrated guitarist, and his lyrics are very relatable.This song shows off both perfectly.

Such a beautifully written love song that shows Ed’s ability to play the blues. Along with a nice solo. I’m not used to Ed playing an electric guitar, but after hearing how good n catchy Dive is, I’m hoping he does it more
