Enduring oblivion
The rotten sphere rejects its populous
Legions of crushed souls leave the atmosphere
Thoughts are exhumed from those who stood
To fight the malevolent creation
The carcasses are left to rule the earth
Poignantly fighting over body parts
In the wake of such atrocities we have watched
Our young be slain, we gather up
The remains of our fallen future
Thoughts of salvation are futile
Bodies are split and the organs are ruptured
Displayed within its pallets
An anthology of decimation
Contorted corpses writhe in pain
And mangled minors scream for fathers
Those who are not wounded
Yet can hear the cries of Armageddon
I prayed the massacre would end
And let my body rest
Instead I'm forced to stay
Amidst this slaughtered realm
I have watched the world be pounded into dust
Surrounded by the remains
Of everything I'd learnt to trust

The sonic calm of a planetary battlefield
All around me I see death, I was left to witness...
