Would seem they suggest that being lonely can cause your mind to race. Happiness could escape you with an ever-wandering mind.

Re-enforces my point I think. Hard to sleep with a racing mind. Could also elude to anxiety or possibly schizophrenia but I don't see much evidence they're referencing that throughout the song.

Everyone has their problems, and while many will see it as a never-ending process, like having depression or anxiety, you can make it to the end. The loneliness is temporary, for you will find that person to confide in (or thing depending on what satisfies the need to not be lonely).

You're still capable of love or happiness or whatever you think you've lost.
