Leaving the choirs behind to sing
of anything fair ,of lilac spring
a dream of truce behind my eyes
a life of journeys will unwind
Emerge through idle air
Born under a troubled sign
Will it hurt to see me find
The long lost peace of mind
Darling,
You had me here for a while
Breaks my heart to see you cry
in the wake of incomplete time
Darkness overthrows
Map of nowhere is in my hand
The roads are blurred
Sojourners land
So take however long you want
But don't forget my love
You've pledged yourself to come along
You're lost in reveries
Holding back the tears
Faint sound of the wires
The butterfly is in the fire now
Lost in a memory you're holding my hands
One heart is in the ground
The other is veiled in silver all around
Born under a troubled sign
Will it hurt to see me find
The long lost peace of mind
Darling
You had me here for a while
Breaks my heart to see you cry
In the wake of incomplete time
of anything fair ,of lilac spring
a dream of truce behind my eyes
a life of journeys will unwind
Will it hurt to see me find
The long lost peace of mind
Darling,
You had me here for a while
Breaks my heart to see you cry
in the wake of incomplete time
The roads are blurred
Sojourners land
So take however long you want
But don't forget my love
You've pledged yourself to come along
Holding back the tears
Faint sound of the wires
The butterfly is in the fire now
Lost in a memory you're holding my hands
One heart is in the ground
The other is veiled in silver all around
Will it hurt to see me find
The long lost peace of mind
Darling
You had me here for a while
Breaks my heart to see you cry
In the wake of incomplete time

So from this song, I get strong Romeo & Juliet type of vibes. Two lovers that struggle with the burdens of life's journey and agree to take their own lives together, but one of them is scared and having seconds thoughts. The chorus and the second verse of the song lead me to believe this.
"Darling, you had me here for awhile Breaks my heart to see you cry In the wake of incomplete time"
The lover of whom's perspective the song is being sung is crying because they don't think they are ready to leave.
"So take however long you want (But don't forget, my love) You pledged yourself to come along"
The bridge even makes it sound like one of the lovers was too afraid to go along with the plan, thus letting the other die while they themselves went on living.
"One heart is in the ground The other is veiled in silver all around"
Though it is a bit depressing, this is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Jonas Renske's voice is just pure gold, and the tone of the music and the way he sings the song is just captivating.
As someone said earlier, this song cam be about separation of lovers. What makes it more tragic is that the separation is connected to aging. The idea of aging and reflecting on the time passed is clearly seen throughout the album, and I understood that song as a last words to a loved one before death. He asks the other person to accept it and let him go, because he is transcending to a better place where he finally can be at peace ("Will it hurt to see me find The long lost peace of mind")
