It's sort of a ballad, and sort of a very pretty sweet song, but at the same time it’s someone romantically declaring their fallibility to the object of their desire, and basically saying “I promise you I’ll be shit”. Sort of the worst pickup line ever extrapolated into an anti-romantic ballad.
