pretty evident from the lyrics, someone that lacks self confidence and questions themself in a societal setting. They are beta, not alpha. Not that that is wrong, but the lack of self confidence is an issue. Time is passing this person by (the lyrics)....they realize that life is going by, need to make some changes.
