Q&A
Through The Cellar Door Lyrics
So, are we heading outside?
It’s a victory dance
Are you coming now?
Now the start is in sight
Now history sides with the common man
Are you one of us?
Are you one of us?
I’m done with the creatures online
There’s more to this life
If you’re honest now
Are you coming untied?
Are you one of us?
There’s a baying crowd
And it’s a call to account
It’s a crying shame if you don’t come
And it’s a call to account
And it’s a crying shame if you don’t come
Are you with me?
Are you with me?
It’s a victory dance
Are you coming now?
Now the start is in sight
Now history sides with the common man
Are you one of us?
Are you one of us?
There’s more to this life
If you’re honest now
Are you coming untied?
Are you one of us?
And it’s a call to account
It’s a crying shame if you don’t come
And it’s a call to account
And it’s a crying shame if you don’t come
Are you with me?
Are you with me?

I have been listening to the sounds from the Life is strange series for a while now, and each one of them unfolds and has a meaning of their own separate from the story, but fits well to the theme.
This song is epic, exhilerating, celebratory, positive, and deep all at once. It's one is about the awakening of humanity, the realization that the individual has power, no longer subservient to the constructs of the world around us, and this realization is pulsing, the throb of a heart beat punctuated by the heavy drums throughout the song.
This individual has woken up, expanded their mind to the possibilities outside the cages we have allowed ourselves to be put in, including the internet, where discussion is fine, but often we are trapped in it and don't live outside that realm. It's a call to something greater in life, to reconnecting with those around us, and being involved in something greater than self. The shame is when we ignore the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our fellow common man (and yes woman), because truly history is on our side at this moment, and has been for a while now. We just have to know when and where to make a difference. Some things are noble, and some things are futile, knowing that difference is the key. The song and it's energy begs us to entertain our better angels, who will answer the call? Are you one of us? Will you carry the torch? Will you let your light shine from within to be a force for good? Will you be a creature driven by impulse? Or a creator in league with others who are creators?
