Don’t you find it funny
Or at least make you half way smile?
How the pretty ones make noise in city nights?
And when you walk in front of your mirror do you see him
Or do you see the contour of me like it used to be?
And now I’m standing here noticing everything and everyone
That just a breath ago would be shadows
But now they’re like neon lights that won’t stop blinking in my face
Could you think how silly it turned out
And now I can’t hold anyone without thinking of you
How many explosions from within do we face
As we go on this never ending hunt?
The answer my dear is just one more every time but now
I have a problem thinking anyone can erase you
