Definitely feel that he's meaning this. It makes total sense. However, I also thought that he meant he's leaving this earth/world. Perhaps a suicidal thought, which is why he needs a prayer and could use it. Of course, we all can use prayer, but this may be a alternate meaning. "It's time" either means time to part ways, or time to go escape his pain and "pay his debts."..... Just my 2 cents. lol
