This song to me is about falling in love. The narrator clearly loves this girl and wants to protect her. He starts by saying she is more wonderful then any wonders of the world which is funny because it is the 8th track which could be like she's the 8th wonder of the world. Then he goes on saying that his army of one (himself) is going to fight for this women. He is true to her and she gives him strength. she like "I'm never so high than when I'm with you" and "There's no fire that I wouldn't walk through" Then in the next verse he says "There's nothing I wouldn't do" The chorus continues and then it ends with "My heart is my gun, army of one" which is one of my favorite lines from Coldplay right now. The heart is a powerful weapon. He calls himself an army of one but his only weapon is the heart.

It's about loving someone and trying to fight for that connection until they can't fight anymore. I think it's a song about deep feelings, no matter how it ends. Very sweet song.

Lets not get all religious. Religion has nothing to do with it. Please let's get rid of religion. I believe in more. I'm not sure what but it's there and She's real. They are real. I'm not even sure what Coldplay ment with these lyrics when they were written. But if you listen carefully messages seep though in all songs. Listen to Kaleidoscope from this album. Mostly you hear it. A strange short song and let it pass. Almost annoying but listen to the text...Clearer than this it doesn't get.
