There ain't no secrets anymore
My name's been hanging on the hook outside your door
Just an old eyesore

I got this feeling, I can't keep it down anymore
Bring me some healing
Saint Cecilia, carry me home to your house of broken bones

You're out of sight, I'm out of mind
Been sitting watch your pictures drying on the line
Just a game of mine

I got this feeling, I can't keep it down anymore
Bring me some healing
Saint Cecilia, carry me home to your house of broken bones

I know no matter what I say
Days will come and go
No matter what I say
Nothing's set in stone
No matter what I say
Days go by

I know no matter what I say
Days will come and go
No matter what I say
Nothing's set in stone
No matter what I say
Days go by

I got this feeling, I can't keep it down anymore
Bring me some healing
Saint Cecilia, carry me home to your house of broken bones

I know no matter what I say
Days will come and go
No matter what I say
Nothing's set in stone
No matter what I say
Days go by

I know no matter what I say
Days will come and go
No matter what I say
Nothing's set in stone
No matter what I say
Days go by

I know no matter what I say (Saint Cecilia)
Days will come and go
No matter what I say
Nothing's set in stone
No matter what I say
Days go by

I know no matter what I say (Saint Cecilia)
Days will come and go
No matter what I say (Saint Cecilia)
Nothing's set in stone
No matter what I say
Days go by

    My Interpretation

To me this song is an ode to music, Saint Cecilia being the patron saint of musicians. It's about how music has the ability to heal you, to be the ultimate form of self expression.

To me the first line of the chorus "I got this feeling, I can't keep it down anymore" is about how if you're a musician the music lives inside of you, it ignites a fire in your soul, you can't keep it trapped inside, you need to get it out, you have the insatiable urge to create and collaborate and just make noise, it's just something that needs to poor out of you. And being a musician doesn't mean that you're the best player or singer or composer, it just means that you have an ingrained passion for music, it's all about never letting that passion die, it's about never giving up on music and and long as you never let that passion die you're a musician whether you're a classically trained concert pianist or a kid that just picked up the dust old guitar in the corner, all that matters are how the music makes you feel.

The second have of the chorus "Bring me some healing Saint Cecilia, carry me home to your house of broken bones." Is about how music can heal you, no matter how broken you are, no matter how bad things get, if you have music in your heart it can be your salvation.

I think the bridge: "I know no matter what I say Days will come and go No matter what I say Nothing's set in stone No matter what I say Days go by"

Is about how nothing in this life is certain, no matter what you try to do to control it, life is going to pass you by whether you want it to or not and life doesn't owe you anything, it's up to you what you do with it, whether you go out and grab life by the balls or wake up at 40 full of regret wondering where it went, it's all up to you, the only thing that is certain is the passing of time.

    My Interpretation

its about a girl who gave everything musical, words and all things BOARD ON A BANDS web site BEFORE TWITTER. She asked of nothing back as she was healing her heart with like minded tribes. The inspiration of poets musicians etc LIVE FOREVER WITHIN THE HEARTS. They don't know HER and SHES not looking for the STARS as they bring it on home. OH yeah later she actually has Dave Grohls name hanging on the door by way of a Nirvana tape cover...AND her artwork was hanging out,, not realized in a bigger more "productive" way. The escape to the Music Board was her way of giving all before it was too late....life on the street ...And a board of DREAMS. St Cecilia? how did they know...a spiritual girl tied to be with a man of high status...lonely trapped. star crossed chained. Her freedom is now her dreams. SHE STEALS AWAY THE TIME WRITING MUSIC BY HERSELF AS THE FUTURISTIC DOUBLE OF ST CECILIA...THE BLOOD LIKE CLAIR AND THE TIME WITH MUSES WILD CARDS AND DOUBLE DOUCES....SO BEAUTIFUL A CHANCE TO MAKE GOLD HONEY MUSINGS BAND OF GYPSIES ....FOREVER ! THANK YOU.......the DOG ,,,,Jewel ninesixoh tvc15 LOVE love to yoU LOVE !

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
