Oh my Christmas tree
will never get to grow
into all its mighty rings
but for a month or so

and all the spirit that it brings
Dime store bulbs
they're hangin' in rows
and I'm wonderin' what could they mean
old Ebenezer's free
with wires for roots
and an angel cut from an old magazine
