i added these lyrics but there are a few lines i'm unsure about. if you can do a better job decoding the weird pronunciations, please feel free! a list of the lines that i most likely butchered:
"Led on the leaves we understand" (i know this is wrong because it makes no sense whatsoever, but it was the only thing i could come up with)
"Flowers from the days you love Flowers from the days unsaved" (could be right but most likely wrong, again, because it doesn't make much sense)
"Cyanide suffocates the air" (best i could come up with that might make sense but i don't think that is what she's saying)
and possibly others. again, please feel free to fix them.
anyway, i personally think this song is about a relationship where the guy is away (maybe in the army and deployed overseas fighting) and she's stuck at home waiting, and feels like when he does come home, he's not really there (maybe due to PTSD) and from the first couple lines it sounds like she might have cheated on him while he was away, but from a couple of his lines, it sounds like he forgives her. i guess it's just about the struggle of betrayal and forgiveness in relationships.
