Peoples Temple Lyrics

We hang on every word that you preach to us
No more questioning, your views your reasons
We’re subservient pawns in your master plan
We look to you to guide us home

We wanted to live to shine
To give light to a world that’s dying
But you took us down a path so cold
Just a blind pursuit for fool’s gold

Darkness settles over
This Peoples Temple crumbles
Evil settles over
This fertile marshy land

You took away our freedom
You took away our children
The only reason we followed
Your views, your every word

Some see God inside your body
Some see Christ inside of you
A hope of glory
I see the fraud

Some see God inside your body
Some see Christ inside of you
A hope of glory
Take them away
All the words you say

Cover art for Peoples Temple lyrics by Transcience

This is about the deception of the Aztec civilization and about how in the end they paid the price for their wickedness. But it makes connections to similar false messiahs who preach idol worship which is basically linked to worship of the god Molech. It ends with "take them away, all the words you say". This is an expression of hope that god will remove the words of blasphemy as he removed the Aztecs.
This can only happen by burning the impurities in the soul (eternal fire) as these words come from the heart and the heart is an expression of the soul. That's why the soul is being killed by being thrown into hellfire. It's not literal death it's symbolic death. So that a new soul can emerge for the transition from 3rd to 4th dimension.
