Kocaine Karolina Lyrics
Kocaine Karolina down to your bones
Fireworks in your heart make it far from home
Every morning you wake up alone just the same
Who would wanna live longer anyway
Oooooo
Easy days will come
When you rest your heavy soul
Oooooo
Easy days will come
When your hard living is done
Poke your skinny spirit to keep a man
Whats left of your flesh slipped from his hand
Lonely looking eyes have done you wrong
Don't waste a way until your gone
Oooooo
Easy days will come
When you rest your heavy soul
Oooooo
Easy days will come
When your hard living is done
Oooooo
Easy days will come
When you rest your heavy soul
Oooooo
Easy days will come
When your hard living is done
Kocaine Karoline
Your down to your bones
Don't waste away until your gone
Don't waste away until your gone
Fireworks in your heart make it far from home
Every morning you wake up alone just the same
Who would wanna live longer anyway
Easy days will come
When you rest your heavy soul
Oooooo
Easy days will come
When your hard living is done
Whats left of your flesh slipped from his hand
Lonely looking eyes have done you wrong
Don't waste a way until your gone
Easy days will come
When you rest your heavy soul
Oooooo
Easy days will come
When your hard living is done
Easy days will come
When you rest your heavy soul
Oooooo
Easy days will come
When your hard living is done
Your down to your bones
Don't waste away until your gone
Don't waste away until your gone

While downloading "Ex's & Oh's" on itunes this morning, I came across this song as well. It spoke to me immediately, because of it's simple country-like melody and melancholic vocals. It brought a tear to my eye, as I know a "Kocaine Karolina", a troubled person who got down on her luck and unfortunately resorted to drugs as a means of escaping from the pain of real life. This song beautifully captures her fragile mind and soul and thankfully leaves hope for the future. If only life was as simple as this song...
