I feel like this is about a mixture of bad parenting and how it fucks you up with hints of molestation. Also about society and how it fucks you up. It's not really cotton candy, it's just cotton. Models eat cotton to feel full. Her teeth are rotten because of malnutrition and purging. I feel like this song also references parents who keep their kids sick for attention, syrup with some sort of poison.

I feel like this song means that although you try to hide the truth you can't: 'Kids are still depressed when you dress them up' and 'syrup is still strup in a sippy cup' because syrup looks better in a sippy cup right? And blood still stains even if you clean it and all the makeup in the world won't make you less insecure so again you try to hide it So basically you try to hide the truth that is behind all these makeup and nice stuff and clothes. You hide it to the world and it works but it doesn't for yourself

The song meaning talks about no matter how much you try and cover up all of your problems, they are still going to be there.

I feel like every single sentence holds meaning: "Your favorite candy's cotton, that's why all your teeth are rotten" The "cotton candy" refers to the cotton ball diet for extreme weight loss. When you suffer from bulimia you overeat then try to "remove" the calories by throwing up, but the stomach acid "rot" your teeth.

i thinks its about a mom who drinks too much and no matter what it is it is still a drink. her kids are depressed about what is happening and scarred. she does stuff like have sex but then also kills them from being drunk (and i think she thinks her husband is lying to her)

I think that it relates a lot to virginity and stuff. 'Blood on the sheets' is usually relates to sex. So even if you wash the sheets that fact still remain that you have sinned. When the lights go off, youre supposed to sleep, but you will still sin (sex dont sleep.) No matter how much you try to cover it up, or dress it up, your mistake still remains just as bad. Syrup is still syrup in a sippy cup, a spade is a spade.

For the part "Kids are still depressed when you dress them up," I think that it means that even if it doesn't seem like it, some one can still be depressed. For example someone could be depressed (Kids are still depressed) even if they hide it, with a fake smile or just pretending they're ok (When you dress them up)
