I believe this song is about being or feeling free, and wishing others could feel the same. This is suggested by the use of the jungle, which we think of as a pretty wild place, and a monkey which we see as a very wild, carefree creature. Then, the part about wishing others could feel free, is suggested by the mention of being tied to a tightrope, and bei a big bird in a small cage. However, it might also be mocking those who aren’t living freely, and trying to tell the world to wake up, loosen up, and live a little.
