Revolt Lyrics

How did we get in so much trouble?
Getting out just seems impossible
Oppression is persisting
I can't fight this brain conditioning

Our freedom's just a loan
Run by machines and drones
They've got us locked into their sights
Soon they'll control what's left inside
Don't try to hide it
Don't tell me its not there

You've got strength
You've got soul
You've felt pain
You've felt love
You can grow, you can grow
You can grow, you can grow
You can make this world what you want
You can revolt
You can revolt
You can revolt

Can you hear a distant thunder?
Taste Earth's blood and hunger
We live in a toxic jungle
Truth is suppressed to mumbles
And they'll take away our homes
They're just machines and drones
Don't try to fight it
Don't me that you can't see

That you've got strength
You've got soul
You've felt pain
You've felt love
You can grow, you can grow
You can grow, you can grow
You can make this world what you want
You can revolt
You can revolt
You can revolt

I can feel your pain
I can feel your confusion
I can see you're trapped in a maze
Let's find a way to escape

You've got strength
You've got soul
You've felt pain
You've felt love
You can grow, you can grow
You can grow, you can grow
You can make this world what you want
You can revolt
You can revolt
You can revolt

Cover art for Revolt lyrics by Muse

I feel that with this album that muse is trying to brainwash us into thinking that people in power are taking away our freedom and rights and although this is true, aren't muse still brainwashing us with what they beleive? I'm not trying to go against muse I'm just saying maybe that they are trying to make a point of making there songs believable and motivating so that they are making the point that even though they are correct with what they are saying it is still a form of brainwashing and everything is a form of brainwashing and everyone is out to make us believe what they believe and I'm just saying maybe they are purposly trying to be hipacritical to make a point. I don't know maybe they are trying to say that the world revolves around convincing. I'm sorry I got a little carried away and this probably doesn't make sense but oh well.

@jonjonwinny we came so far, this is 2016 and yet we are so much wrong, and it sometimes deterrents us to think about that, about how much sad it is. so I understand your thought. Muse just describe our wrongs and I agree with them completely, their music is not just about love, it is also about rights, peace, psychology, solutions and so much more.
