A New Work for Order

At the highest attic of the town
Jay’s making tea to stay awake
Exhausted 'cos of all these nights of work
He still won’t get a chance to take no break
So he switches on the wit machine
Ordered by new public man
For easy money he’ll be squeezing his mind now
Soon he’ll show it off if he carries with his plan
Now Jay’s got to hung around to an official celebration,
But he’ll be wearing a cheep tie & a zip-less pant
He just hates to stand all those drunken politicians
But it’s the only way to get a lovely grant
He’s gone in search for some casual inspiration
But with a bunch of old resorts it should be enough
He stands off the scene to star a new work for order
It’ll be good enough to go by at least till he gets the dough
Surrounded of fancy people all around
His work will finally come to light
The big day & the big man will jump to the scene once again
But he knows for sure that the glory will be someone else’s tonight
