I think a lot about Mackenzie. I mean, brilliantly talented but with a level of complexity that is so intriguing.
I think this song encapsulates my impression of the torment.
Read any of her interviews and you see that she grew up in a deeply religious houehold. And then listen to the songs and imho I think it’s pretty clear that she is gay.
Now, listen to this song with that in mind and I think it’s really clear. That’s the New Skin that she’s wearing. And she’s nervous about how her family is going to react.
@Marty Being Marty Kind of a huge leap there, Marty. You could just as easily say she's really a tranny, that's the new skin - or almost anything else in the world. She grew up religious, she could be saying she's an atheist. It could be anything.
