I remember the time you kicked out
Your radioactive sister
She got that way because of pregnancy hormones
And she laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed
And everybody hated you
And you felt bad 'cause you were worried about
Your young, impressionable, pregnant sister
But then you didn't
'Cause her boyfriend wasn't dealing drugs out of your
closet anymore
She always had money for cigarettes
But never had money to pay the rent
But the thing that really irked you the most
Was when the cops came said,
"Hey all of you
Better stop that or you're going all to jail"
But they just said, "Hey man, it's just a verbal warning"
And like projectile vomit
Your critics would call you screaming about how you ruined
Her young and fecund life
By forcing her to become a responsible, post-juvenile parent-to-be
I want to be more than my sister's keeper, said she
Oh I don't know what to be yet
But that doesn't entitle you
To take that - whatever it is
Away from me I help people
But don't take advantage
'Cause I'll stop you dead in your tracks
Yes I remember that time
And you both became better people, I hope
