I believe that the meaning of this song could be that even when you struggle, when it's hard and you just wanna crawl into a hole and die, that you will find your happiness one day, and that it does come back to you. The overall message is that even though it's tough, you'll find your way someday, whether it be today, tomorrow, next week, 5 years from now, doesn't matter, but you will figure it out.
It's begins with the lyrics: "4 A.M. beside myself And what I think of mental health, All the things that worry me All the things you don’t believe" He has a lot of anxiety, and maybe others believe mental health and emotion is taboo "Where to look and point my view All the things that I could be I think I learned in therapy Am I just a shadow you drew?" That he's been told to live like cattle, and that maybe he feels like nobody, just another guy on the street
I think it means after you have worked through your "stuff" via therapy or self reflection you get back to your "real" self and you will find joy again and learn to grown in a positive way
