Probably completely wrong but I always thought this song was, in part, about eating a woman out. He tells about how he's stuck in "the same old shit" until he tastes "her majesty My lil' cherry blossom" and finds pleasure in it. So that's my opinion but I have no doubt the real meaning is more pure and in fact a reference to get soul/spirit when they're together in the song.
