Most part of the clip is about the differences between an american psycho and an american beauty, she hits a lot of bad dudes which attack her, and it hurts the Boy who is the interpretation of american, half psycho and half beauty and young, at the end another kid comes like if it meant another president comes and the same happens, the members of the group are here to take the bodies out, like if they had to do all the shitty job.

There are lots of repetitions, like the boy at the start and the new one at the end of the clip, he says he's crazy and he loves her, and he is hurting him just as in the clip, saying she's taking the truth, but not all of it. He says that the american beauty will kill him one day, his love will. So it's a love song quite hidden in the lyrics, written from a guy which is maybe poor and in a bad situation, to a girl which has got everything and is really beautiful.
I love the overall tone of this song.
