I've got two interpretations:
Clearly her relationship is in difficulty.
Most obvious interpretation is that she wants to forget about her life and meet someone else "You know nothing about me, I know nothing about you", and that might be an excuse for her to break up "Or if I’m just looking For an excuse for us to break up"
But the first time I heard it, I interpreted it differently and more that she wanted to start again - forget their histories and try again.
