ACT I: Realisations
The time was wrong and I had no clue. I knew what I had to do.
The time was real it tore right through but I still knew what I had to do.
She said take me, take me by the river and drown me in all my sorrows.
ACT II: Confrontations
Oh I bet you think you're naughty but youre not I bet you think you caught me you didn't. Oh you should have tried harder you could have but you didn't think you'd get away from me
Next time I think about you I'll know what to do: I will let you see it through.
ACT III: Not Myself
Please don't take offence to the words that I said I'm just not "myself" yet you don't mind.
ACT IV: Self-Convictions
Guess there's a part of me that shouldn't have done what I did. I was convinced that we would have fixed this.
And I'm not asking for forgiveness because it's way past my time. When I thought you were wrong I guess I didn't realise I wasn't exactly right.
So if you'd forgive me for acting out aloud I think we can make it work out and there's not someone in the world where we are right now where someones not grabbing the finger of a child.
Take me to the river and drown me in all my sorrow.
Because I watched you, the water covered over your face. I'll never live with what I did.
