All Is Now Harmed

To me this song is about fear or depression and how when you are a child there is no fear or sadness in anything you do. "as a child it was not there, not scared of the flood the creek and the thud inside your chest". this shows a child who doesn't have a worry about the horrible things going on in the world and also love.

the next lines are about how everything has changed. "Clearly calm and keeping terrorised,the ageless pull of winter alone but by your side". he's talking about winter symbolically of the darkness that has over come and 'terrorised him'.

in the next stanza he is questioning his morals "was i born to lie". this is him denying that he needs help. he is denying the state of depression he is in and when he finally accepts it he realises that he "can't do this alone', but he wants to believe he is stronger than he is so he says 'prove me wrong'

the chorus is all about how he thinks that darkness is in his blood and in his nature and how he doesn't want to fight this because he believes he can't help it cause its in his blood. 'but is in your nature, it blooms inside your blood Hold me in harms way baby, all is now harmed' . here he is saying to his loved one or someone who has always been there for him in this dark time time that everything is now all gone wrong and can't be fixed and he needs her to hold him to help him through this.
