This one is fairly straightforward if we look at the middle of the song for the biggest clue and then look at the song from the beginning to the end. The god Surya is mentioned, who is a significant Hindu Sun deity often depicted as flying through the sky in a 7 horsed chariot (vimana). His abilities typically involve dispelling darkness, curing disease, heating and illuminating the Earth. In the song this is hinted at: “Raise Surya to burn off the soil, Make it safe for my eyes”. Now, back to the beginning.

He’s lamenting the fact that no one will believe he even exists without a photo no matter what they see of him in the sky (“confetti”).

His separation from being an observer makes him crave interactions from feeling soulless in the process. He wants a terrestrial existence.
