In my opinion this is the most beautiful song on this album. I think this song is about the lost hope, seemingly impossible task of finding the perfect significant other. In an interview Porter went on to say that out of the billions of people on the planet, your odds of finding the one person who is a true fit to you is "infinitesimal". While depressing, it is incredibly true. He is cursed with that thought and it won't go away, especially during his times of loneliness.
