Joyriding

to me, this song sounds like it's about anxiety and/or depression.

"i'm not sure what they said, but if it's true i'll bet it's just one more thing i'll regret i hate my weaknesses they made me who i am" this means person 1 is very insecure about their own weaknesses. and "they" seemingly say negative things about person 1. person 1 lets these weaknesses and comments get to them and it made them try to change how they are based on that.

"yeah, it's cool, i'll be okay" person 1 is talking to person 2, basically telling them that they shouldn't worry because they'll be "okay", but person 1 just doesn't want to hurt person 2.

"dry your eyes and hide my shakes" shakes are a symptom of a panic attack. so person 1 gets panic attacks and person 2 is sad/worried/scared for person 1. "'cause i hate that look that's on your face" person 2 is visibly scared or worried for them.

"these things inside my head they never make much sense i wouldn't hold my breath i hope i die before they save my soul" person 1 is impacted by more negative thoughts, leading them to believe that they'll never get better. this leads them to be suicidal, and they think that nobody will be able to fix them.

"don't hang up because i don't have anyone left here don't give up don't hang on to anything i've said" person 1 is talking to person 2 over the phone. it implies that nobody else will listen to person 1, so they don't want person 2 to hang up on them. person 2 is devastated, but person 1 wants them to be strong and they don't want them to be sad about person 1's problems.

"i hate my weaknesses they made me who i am it makes no difference i'm insignificant" person 1 is feeling really depressed and they think they're worthless to everybody.

"this is not the end for us" person 1 decides not to kill themselves in the end, but still may be bothered by their issues.
