I got chills when I looked through the floorhole,
and down in the cellar I thought I could see
a figure there looking at me.
I gave a knock on the cellar door.
I could hear voices for sure.
And once inside, I looked around.
There was nobody to be found.
And when I came back into the house,
that's when the power went out.
And what I saw there in the dark
made all the hair stand stiff on my arms.

I caught floating around in the kitchen.
And the sound that it made I do not want to hear
again for the rest of my years.

I believe it should likely destroy us.
Am I part of somebody's terrible game
or am I just going insane?
Into my room, I lock the door.
Not gonna scare me no more!
Then I recalled the day before
when I tested out my ouija board.
Told me to put a record on.
I played it my favorite song.
And when I played it in reverse
that's surely when I released the curse.
Premonition, premonition,
I received through the backwards transmission.
Superstitious I'm not but I'm able to spot
the voice behind all the noise.
Spirit, there's a spirit!
