Childlike Lyrics
The less we stare at different life
I play the role I smile bright
Consume the perfect pesticide
And laugh it feels so childlike
Surprised I even care at all
Recall the days of wonderful
Delight of all the things we might be
I play the role I smile bright
Consume the perfect pesticide
And laugh it feels so childlike
Surprised I even care at all
Recall the days of wonderful
Delight of all the things we might be

Generally with age people seem to preserve the "bad" side of a child in themselves - being completely naive towards things that may hurt them badly, they keep on consuming "the perfect pesticide" and pretend they are happy with it. While the "good" side of a child - curiosity, energy, thurst for knowledge - seems to die off in many people way too quickly, all that remains for them is recalling "the days of wonderful delight of all the things we might be"
