Where I'm Going Lyrics
Can't say I know what will happen tomorrow
I can't say I know if it's joy or sorrow
I can't say how long I'll stand at the line that I'm toeing
But I've got a good feeling 'bout where I'm going
All you see, a world so full of need
And all I need is a pocketful of seeds
Sunflower shooting up to a sky that is glowing
And I've got a good feeling 'bout where I'm going
Pray for rain, it might not come
Can't save the day, save someone
I can't say if the flowers will keep on growing
But I've got a good feeling 'bout where I'm going
I can't say I know if it's joy or sorrow
I can't say how long I'll stand at the line that I'm toeing
But I've got a good feeling 'bout where I'm going
And all I need is a pocketful of seeds
Sunflower shooting up to a sky that is glowing
And I've got a good feeling 'bout where I'm going
Can't save the day, save someone
I can't say if the flowers will keep on growing
But I've got a good feeling 'bout where I'm going

I can't say how long I'll stand at the line that I'm toeing But I've got a good feeling 'bout where I'm going
I wondered if it was supposed to be "toe-ing" or "towing".
I like to think of it as "towing" for some reason. It makes for a better vision in my head of a sailor or fisherman heading out onto the open sea (towing lifeboats, or a net with which to catch his fish) looking for a New World to plant his pocketful of seeds.
