really? no comments yet? hell, i'll break the ice. ki theory is amazing. this is only one of many good songs, although this is probably the most hit-worthy.
and i think the meaning here is pretty clear - old lovers decide to give the relationship another shot, but they only find that the old 'wounds' still haven't healed, and only get worse without repair.
one thing i will say about the lyrics is that at first i thought "--beside you, but so many roads--" said "inside you run so many roads" which would have been awesome if those were the lyrics because it would speak to the paths we all have set before us and how we have to choose one... but, not so. lol. still an EPIC song though. can't get enough. ;)
