I imagine its thinking you are over a breakup but you aren't. Just as you are moving on, something reminds you of that person...Reminiscing only makes you feel sick and you kinda imagine it playing out differently. You were there for them at their worst and also their best. Time passes, you continue to carry on with other failed relationships under your belt and it bothers you whether its family, friends, or lovers.--I didn't read the lyrics I am going off of how he sings the song, and how I heard it.
