Payback Lyrics
Convicted, a brutal act of sin
The sentence did not fit the crime
Outrage, screaming bloody murder
Released, done the time
Hey you
Remember me?
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
Payback, I'll make you suffer
In their name I shall avenge
Hunted just like an animal
The innocent shall have their revenge
Hey you
Remember me?
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
Ya you
Looking at me
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
Payment due
Payment is you
Payment, payment, due
I'm coming
Cowardly acts of violence, the ultimate betrayal
An eye for an eye, true justice will prevail
Squeal, how does it feel to you
Like a pig down upon your knees
Scream as I squeeze your life out
And rid the world of your disease
Hey you
Remember me?
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
Ya you
Looking at me
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
Hey you
Remember me?
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
The sentence did not fit the crime
Outrage, screaming bloody murder
Released, done the time
Remember me?
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
In their name I shall avenge
Hunted just like an animal
The innocent shall have their revenge
Remember me?
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
Ya you
Looking at me
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
Payment is you
Payment, payment, due
I'm coming
An eye for an eye, true justice will prevail
Like a pig down upon your knees
Scream as I squeeze your life out
And rid the world of your disease
Remember me?
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
Ya you
Looking at me
I am the last thing
You'll ever see
Remember me?
I am the last thing
You'll ever see

As best stated in the title, the song is about seeking revenge and justice for a crime committed. When the criminal gets a sentence unfitting for his crime, they are empowered to take matters into their own hands when the justice system had failed in locking them up. The main protagonist is driven by a sense of justice and the need to right the wrongs that have been done to the victims of the criminal he sees as nothing but a plague on the world (a parasite in society). In the end, he has no qualms about snuffing out his life, unknowingly committing an evil crime that he feels to be a lesser evil; To eliminate a criminal may be seen as acceptable righteously, but not so morally.
