All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Ooooooh it's all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls

All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Ooooooh it's all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls

I'm a little let down, but I'm not dead
There's a little bit more that has to be said (Oh oooh)
You play me, now I play you too
Lets just call it over

All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Oooooh its all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls

All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Oooooh its all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls
Chase girls chase boys chase boys chase girls

Im a little bit home, but I'm not there yet
Its one to forgive but its hard to forget
Don't call me, I won't call you, too
Lets just call it over

All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Oooooh it's all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls

All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Oooooh it's all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls
Chase girls chase boys chase boys chase girls

I got two hands, one beating heart
And I'll be alright, I'm gonna be alright

Yeah I got two hands, one beating heart
And I'll be alright,
Gonna be alright

All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Oooooh it's all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls

All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Oooooh it's all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls

All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Oooooh it's all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls

All the broken hearts in the world still beat
Lets not make it harder than it has to be
Oooooh it's all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls

Oooooh it's all the same thing
Girls chase boys chase girls

    My Interpretation

"I got two hands, one beating heart And I'll be alright, I'm gonna be alright"

I kind of fell in love with this song as soon as I heard it. It's very easy to relate to if you are dealing with a messy romantic situation. There's that traditional boy/girl, boy has the power, girl is weak flawed dynamic that you know it's never true. Girls chase boys, girls can chase girls, boys can chase boys, and boys can chase girls, it's all the same.

Warren wanted a Beach Boys thing for this one, and Carl Wilson and Billy Hinsche came in, with Carl arranging the vocal parts. The other harmony vocalists (credited as the "Gentlemen Boys") were Jackson Browne, J.D. Souther, Zevon's longtime backers Waddy Wachtel and Jorge Calderon, and Linda Rondstadt/Stone Poneys guitarist Kenny Edwards.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
