Talk Is Cheap Lyrics
Oh so, you'll be crying
Your doubt I'll bother, reading into it
I'll probably won't
Left to my own devices
But that's the difference in our opinions
You're a mouthful
That amounts for another week on my own
Now I'm a novel made resourceful
I start a chain with my thought
Talk is cheap, my darling
When you're feeling right at home
I wanna make you move with confidence
I wanna be with you alone
So help me help you start it
You're too comfortable to know
Throwing out those words
Oh, you gotta feel it on your own
Cold pain
I cannot sustain it
That's what I'm thinking
Not what I'm drinking
I hold up my ways
These thoughts are pervasive
It's not a statement
But peace can be evasive
You're a mouthful
That amounts for another week on my own
Now I'm a novel made resourceful
I start a chain with my thought
Talk is cheap, my darling
When you're feeling right at home
I wanna make you move with confidence
I wanna be with you alone
So help me help you start it
You're too comfortable to know
Throwing out those words
Oh, you gotta feel it on your own
Talk is cheap, my darling
When you're feeling right at home
I wanna make you move with confidence
I wanna be with you alone
So help me help you start it
You're too comfortable to know
Throwing out those words

The other person sustains their togetherness by her ideas and talk (she's the not-so-confident one, so all these talks serve her defense mechanism), but the singer doesn't ever give a damn about it (he's the "talk is cheap my darling when you're feeling right at home" one) but they somehow manage to keep the relationship. They are two different persons with different characters and preferences, but they both want to be together and they are doing it.
Hi there! Could you please insert the lyrics of "No advice-Airport Version" .. it's really short! thanks. giulia

I think the song is about how the woman is overthinking. How she misinterprets everything her man says. She sees him as a "novel", and his one "thought" starts a "chain" in her mind. She thinks he is attacking her with sarcasm/ mockery.
He is telling her that "talk is cheap", and she should not think he is attacking her with everything he says. He wants her to feel "confident" around him rather than always being on her guard and so defensive.
It is basically about miscommunication between two people.
I think the song is about a girl who's confused about what she wants in a relationship. She claims she wants more from the relationship they already have but is noot willing to leave her comfort zone.He says "talk is cheap my darling, when you're feeling right at home." This is him telling the girl that when she says she wants more, he doesn't believe her unless she acts upon it as well, leaving the safety of "home."
The singer wants her to be confident and spend more time alone together, but he feels she is just "throwing out those words." He also feels she might just be saying these things because she feels like that is the right thing to do, not necessarily what she wants as she doesn't "feel it on her own."
He's asking her to make up her mind, is she does want more to "help me help you start it," but he won't know for sure if she doesn't take the leap of faith
I feel this link describes it pretty well :

I think this song is about someone who needs to deal with their demons but doesn’t realise it yet and is being narcissistic
