Let's meet in the backyard in one week time

Let's find a place that rents paddle boats
In the course of events all the boats have sunken,

I'll get out a skywriting book

To surprise you on your 21st birthday
I wrote in the sky, "everything will be okay"
And I meant it on that day like I mean it on this day
Just as long as we're sticking to the back-up plan
At this point in my life only two things matter,
One, becoming an astronaut

Our neighbor Adrian built a rocket
He's a master of everything that flies
I'll sneak in his backyard, jump in and launch it
We owe it to ourselves to try
But it's like a cartwheel that lasts two weeks
Or the the roaring sound of a thousand bees
Or having you gone and not next to me
