Ethereal Apparition

My skin blackening! My face disappears! My heart's darkening! You don't recognize me, or only what I allow to be seen!
Won't go away! I've gone away to another world where they exist! They follow me, they're stalking me! Shadows everywhere, they frighten me! Apparitions sounds don't exist! They're a part of me, my evolving, then comes the mask...my sanctuary!
My flesh burning, my head hurts me, my unraveling invokes the rage!
So tired of this, I'm fading away no matter how deep I go I can't escape; from this world filled with broken memories, they consume me, they create me, they evolve me, I have become!
A shadow of life, an ethereal shape strengthened by dusk, a friend of the night!
My memories feel like nothing, they seem to fade within the mind!
Into the dark, I feel most free, I lose the fear!
While my flesh burns me, my head hurts me, my unraveling invokes the rage!
