Hide & Seek

What is life if you just can’t live satisfied
The need to work all day is big enough
Searching for my keys I get all lost again
As I realise the guy in the trench coat before me is standing still
And I ask
“Dear Sir can you go on or let me pass? You block my way, it would be kind.
Need to find friends and pride today, so I need to keep walking!”
“Don’t you see those children playing hide and seek?
Wouldn’t it be great to join their game?
All those years I wandered just like you my friend
Seeking people that I can just talk to, that I can depend (on)
Now I know
where to look and how to reach my goal, I would be willing to let you know
Would you take this advice from me and not keep on walking?”
“Dear Sir, I don’t care I want to find – my own way to restore all I’ve lost
I’ve been searching so long, (I’m) all alone, just let me keep on walking!”
Looking for the way, passing the man who drifts away in his own dilemma knowing he was lost
Years have passed and then I crossed the now old man again playing hide and seek, he was young again
Should have joined him back then….
