Cry Lyrics
You know why I lie
Is it so cruel to see you cry?
Hell and Heaven quakes
Where you, where you hide
It makes you cry
All the sounds combine
All the notes will align
When you cry
Oh wait
Show me where it hurts
Deeper, Deeper in
You sing so high
When you cry
Sweet is the song
It's the sound that I hold
When I see in your eyes
That it's wrong
But if you love me won't you cry?
Cry
Is it so cruel to see you cry?
Hell and Heaven quakes
Where you, where you hide
It makes you cry
All the notes will align
When you cry
Show me where it hurts
You sing so high
When you cry
It's the sound that I hold
When I see in your eyes
That it's wrong
But if you love me won't you cry?

I think this song is pretty self-explanatory really, and one of the best features is how the music really reflects the lyrics. The narrator is pleading for their lover to show some emotion that they care, wanting them to cry over them. The lover is clearly detached, hence the narrators plea for them to 'show where it hurts.'
The music also reflects this. The verses are delivered tenderly and sweetly, but as the narrator becomes more frustrated, the guitar roars in quite violently, showing the narrators rage and possibly even a desire to hurt their lover to get some form of reaction from them.
