Yellow Moon Lyrics
Here far away
One could feel the earth vibrate
Moon changing shape and shade
as we all do under its gaze
Yellow moon on the rise
Yellow moon on the rise
Round we go, where we stop no one knows
So tonight the moon I go
Yellow moon on the rise
An echo that rings a bullet unchained
one life, one grave joins the parade
At night the sky grows dark with fallen stars
who comes so far a headstone and grave
the colors turns grey, the black and white fades
Yellow Moon on the rise
Yellow Moon on the rise
Yellow Moon on the rise
Yellow Moon on the rise
One could feel the earth vibrate
Moon changing shape and shade
as we all do under its gaze
Yellow moon on the rise
So tonight the moon I go
Yellow moon on the rise
one life, one grave joins the parade
who comes so far a headstone and grave
the colors turns grey, the black and white fades
Yellow Moon on the rise
Yellow Moon on the rise

Yellow means many different things, it’s meaning is almost a paradox in itself. Hopeful but cowardly, happiness but cautious, and a yellow moon itself means to adapt to change, kinda go with the flow, so there you have it. A simple enough song. This album was weak, I’m sorry but it was, and now waiting 6 years he better find that passion like he had back in the yield days, but with trump pres now I fear we will get a riot act part II and we def do not want another hunk of shit like that again. If I seem cynical it’s because this is a band that gives absolute gems like VS, YIELD, and “Avocado Album” but then gives you riot act and lightening bolt which was there worst album aside from pendulum & sirens. Please Eddie, we know, oh god we know, you’re a bleeding heart white hating tranny loving liberal that doesn’t realize the only “punk” thing in this country is republican/conservative views. How bout a punk rock song bout that. Praise the glorious irony, praise it !
at the show they did in worcester ma, eddie said that he wrote this when the boston marathon bombings went down and had everyone who was injured on his mind when writting the lyrics
