This is about a couple, a dysfunctional couple and the co-dependant is speaking. She is rescuing him by planning an escape, a way out of the trouble and pain he has caused, again.

She cannot escape this relationship so the destructive love has no end, and it can only rest for a time, until the next wave of pain comes. She makes deals with him to keep his secrets, she is a slave to the lies and cover-up, she is his slave.

The "Everything will be alright by my side" is what she says to him and to herself. It's not true. The truth is ... there are no words to describe this strange messed-up relationship.

The part expresses the utter hopelessness she feels and can never forget. She cannot break from this person and his abuse, she is a slave to the whole situation in her mind and she feels she will die this way. "Love has no end, take it to the grave" Her definition of Love is warped and painful, not real love.
