I stared calmly out the window as I watched the rain come down, I went into town and ran into you
(We didn't talk at all)
Passing by the fields and the streams I heard a certain song
A feeling I hadn't had in awhile
(And it's good enough for me)
I really think it's better off this way

I was sick off dirty water, I was struggling for words
This place was comfort when I thought the world was cursed (out on the patio)
At 6am we finished, cover songs and conversations, went home and passed out to all the sounds

I really think it's better off this way
