Planets Lyrics
Godless, meteoric war
Anger, our existence nevermore
You awoke the giants who were dormant in the sky
Comets raining death from a fiery eye
Mother of all, your time is coming
One with eternity
When planets collide
Planets collide
Damage, galaxy destruct
Endless, celestial a bit corrupt
You will be forgotten like the others lost in time
Deaths symbolization, left behind
Mother of all, your time is coming
One with eternity
When planets collide
Planets collide
Take heed the final march is closing in
You can't defeat them on your own
Weapons are longing for the final stand
And their all aimed at you from heaven
Planets collide
Planets collide
Planets collide
Planets collide
You will be forgotten like the others lost in time
Deaths symbolization, left behind
Mother of all, your time is coming
One with eternity
When planets collide
Planets collide
Anger, our existence nevermore
You awoke the giants who were dormant in the sky
Comets raining death from a fiery eye
One with eternity
When planets collide
Planets collide
Endless, celestial a bit corrupt
You will be forgotten like the others lost in time
Deaths symbolization, left behind
One with eternity
When planets collide
Planets collide
You can't defeat them on your own
Weapons are longing for the final stand
And their all aimed at you from heaven
Planets collide
Planets collide
Planets collide
Deaths symbolization, left behind
One with eternity
When planets collide
Planets collide

This song is like "I Won't See You Tonight" because of its connection with Acid Rain, but it's inverted, due to difference on storyline. Since I Won't See You Tonight explains about the end of someone's life and the impact to their loved ones, Planets and Acid Rain explains about the end of the world and its impact to the living. The difference is, chronologically, I Won't See You Tonight starts with smooth, depressing beat and ends with rough, raging beat, while Planets and Acid Rain starts with hard, powerful tone, and ends with calm, deep tone.
I think they're back at their old times. This Means War has a similarity with Unholy Confessions, St. James shares similarity with Flash of The Blade, Crimson Day has similarity with Warmness on The Soul (The intro using guitar instead of piano). And this song, the bridge has similarity with Buried Alive closing verse.
That's my thought about Planets. Great song. If only Jimmy's alive, he would be proud.
