This song is a tribute to Joel's late brother Tyler, who committed suicide, and died in November of 2013. This is also the final track to his debut album, "Many faces." which was dedicated to his brother, and late girlfriend who died the same way a year prior the songs "If you knew." and "The war against ourselves." reference his brother, and the songs, "If you knew." "Alright." "Heaven is a place on her." (Face) "Hopelessly pathetic." "I'm fucking crazy but you're the one who made me." "Maybe two or twenty." and "Talk." were written for her.
