Die To Save You

When love turns into an obsession... I think the song is dedicated to a man/feamle who has an attachment issue, could be an attachment disorder. It's about his or her fear of abandonment and what this person has to do, in order to save his/her life.

Personally, i realized that i tend to let my fear define me. 'allow' it to paint everything black. all i see and everything i am. that way, there's only 'with me' or 'against me', and i miss the real picture. It's way too easy to become an obsessive paranoid that way. You don't believe anything or anyone you see, and you're not allowing yourself to believe in your own self. You're only allowing your fear to make a hell of a shadow out of you. you're letting your trauma/s of that past destroy everything you are, along with the one person who truely loves you.

The person who cares for you the most just wants you to relize that he cannot save you. he/she/thery aren't what you want them to be. There are no angels in the real world. They're not mocking you, while you're on the ground. They're not trying to tease and deny you. they keep whispering those words and check out on you, because they still wish you'll relize they are not your saviors, and you have to confront your fear alone. That's why they're not letting you look into their eyes. their eyes will expose their love for you, and you need to undersand that you are a UNIQUE PERSON with or without them.being a unique person, has to do NOTHING with them. EVER.

That's why they keep coming back for you, yet denying the possibility of you exposing their true feelings for you through a deep look inside their eyes. They're not trying to make fun of you, they're not trying to be your psychologist, they're not trying to lecture you. They're trying to make you stand up on your own again. as a person. not as a shadow of who you really are. They're trying to make you UNCHAIN youself. make you help and free yourself.

You gotta let that violent, obsessed and depandent side of you die so you could let yourself BE. if the person you love doesn't wait for you in the end, it means you're better off without him/her. But if he/she does, than try your best loving them the way they are (human beings, kinda like you). do not treat them as if they were your guardian angels. there are no angels.
