Miss Jackson Lyrics
Climbing out the back door, didn't leave a mark
No one knows it's you Miss Jackson
Found another victim
But no one's gonna find Miss Jackson, Jackson, Jackson
You put a sour little flavor in my mouth now
You move in circles hoping no one's gonna find out
But we're so lucky,
Kiss the ring and let 'em bow down
Looking for the time of your life (ain't always gonna find out)
A pretty picture but the scenery is so loud,
A face like heaven catching lighting in your nightgown,
But back away from the water, babe, you might drown-
The party isn't over tonight (lighting in your nightgown)
He-eyy
Where will you be waking up tomorrow morning?
He-eyy
Out the back door
Goddamn
But I love her anyway
I love her anyway
I love her anyway
Out the back door
Goddamn
But I love her anyway
Miss Jackson
Miss Jackson
Miss Jackson
Are you nasty?
Miss Jackson

Are you nasty?
Are you nasty?
I love her anyway
Ohhhh
Where will you be waking up tomorrow morning?
Ohhhh
Out the back door
Goddamn
But I love her anyway
Way down 'til the fire finally dies out
You've got 'em wrapped around your finger
Watch 'em fall down
There's something beautiful and tragic in the fallout
Let me say it one more time
(Tragic in the fall out)
He-eyy
Where will you be waking up tomorrow morning?

This song is based on a real person, The lead singer of the band, brendon urie said this in an interview "Miss Jackson' is about something that actually happened to me when I was younger. I hadn't really talked about it, and I felt that if I didn't, I would keep thinking about it, it would drive me crazy, When I was younger, I would mess around; I'd sleep with one girl one night, sleep with her friend the next night, and not care about how they felt, or how I made them feel. And then it happened to me and I realized 'Wow, that's what that feels like? I feel really sh---y.''"
i think this song is about a prostitute/player who everyone falls for, and she'll sleep with them one night, and then disappear without a trace. and the people that she sleeps with, her "victims", are so in love with her they'd pretty much sell their souls to be with her (that's what I get from the music video, anyway :/ )
(also if you want to get really twisted with it, I think what's going on in the music video is that Brendon sleeps with this prostitute (miss jackson) and doesn't want her to leave, so he kills her so he can keep her forever. That's how i see it anyway. he definitely acts like a serial killer/druggatic in the video 0_o)
It doesn't sound like "Are you nasty" it sounds like "On her worst day." Can anyone confirm this?
I thought it said "Are you not staying"? Maybe I'm wrong, just a thought!

According to Brendon himself it's "are you nasty"

Its "are you nasty as in the Janet Jackson movie where she says "My name's Janet, or Miss Jackson, if you're nasty"

@britpeters I thought it was "Are you not dead?" so that made me think that Miss Jackson was a Serial Killer/ Witch. Mainly because of "Found another victim, but no ones going to find Miss Jackson." For the witch part, it wad all of that crazy smoke that "controlled?" people.

At a recent Panic!at the Disco concert Brendon said that this song was about a girl who he used to have sex with. This girl then started having sex with all of his friends. Brendon said he wouldn't use her real name but instead calls her Miss Jackson.
@falloutpizza at rodeo austin, said explicitly that he had a girl and that he slept with his friends so he slept with all her friends and now there is a song

Actually the song comes from Janet Jackson's "Nasty"
This is correct. At least, the titular statement is

Totally!!! The chorus sounds like a direct reference to the song Nasty if you're familiar with the original Miss Jackson. Stroke of genius if you ask me.
I saw the interview where Brendon talks about the real meaning behind the song, but when I first saw the video I thought it was about a drug addiction. Miss Jackson is the drug and he is talking about his struggles, but he overcomes it in the end and that is why he kills her.
It's "Are you not staying", not "Are you nasty"
It's "are you nasty." Watch the official music video and then read the description. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUc_jXBD9DU

"Miss Jackson, are you nasty?" he said that miss jackson is a reference to janet jackson and her song "nasty", on this song she talks about how much she hates nasty boys, but brendon is asking her are you nasty? because she might hate something that actually she does.
And this is what kind of happened to brendon, when someone was nasty with him, he realized he should stop being nasty himself with other women. (sorry about my english)
