Keep Your Children In A Coma

I love this song I think it's about overprotective parents trying to keep their children "asleep" and safe from the world around them the person speaking is like the presenter of a tv commercial or something similar trying to advertise why it's good to keep them in a comma:

"life is hard for kids today they have to program everything dude, they have to use computers just to sing"

• sometimes they don't have real talent but their parents want them to be stars so they make them be like robots programming computers to sing for them cause they can't really do it by themselves, or have no creativity or abilities. They need computers for everything not just singing, is what I feel about the last verse that they can't do anything by themselves anymore.

"if you keep them dosed on soma you can spare them all their pain keep your children in a coma and stay sane"

• give them drugs to keep them sane I think this part is pretty obvious, like instead of dealing with misbehaviour from children give them drugs to dumb them out of the world so they don't have to deal with their pain or reality for that matter, you stay sane cause you don't have to deal with their problems either or give them any advice as a parent, instead they go to psychologists or someone else to take care of them and possibly will drug them up.

"you can't let them go to school for fear of bullying little beasts and you can't take them to church for fear of priests you can never really know-ma if there motives remain pure keep your children in a coma and be sure"

• don't let them go to school cause bullies will get them and you're being overprotective not letting them defend for themselves. you never know if the priests motives are pure so you can't trust your priests either rather keep them safe and be sure they won't get hurt.

"all that background radiation oil companies run bad party politics amuck good girls gone bad they would just get melanoma if they surfed in see-through jeans keep your children in a coma through their teens little Caleb and Valoma would be drugged up anyway keep your coma starting today

• they'll get skin cancer if you let them out in the sun, they're gonna turn into hookers, prostitutues, whores if they wear see through jeans, and probably even do drugs. Make sure to keep them safe by not giving them junk food ever and being overprotective even of what they eat, where they do, god forbids they are out in the open exposed to toxic gases and whatnot, so rather keep them close and safe and stupid.
